Just outside the picturesque Donnersbachwald, in the district Schaupp, lies the small chalet park Riesneralm. The chalet park is newly built (2021 and 2022) and there is used natural materials including many wood, which provides a luxurious look. All chalets have a private (infrared) sauna and can accommodate groups between 8 and 12 people. The chalet park is located in the middle of the nature of the Donnersbachtal, next to a babbling brook and away from the crowds. An ideal place for a family vacation and to relax.
At about 1.5 km from the chalet park you will find the Riesnerbahn, the chairlift that takes you up the Riesneralm. At the valley station you will also find a private children's ski area with five runs, elevators and a ski school, ideal for the little ski fans. Furthermore, at the valley station of the Riesnerbahn you will find a ski rental with ski depot, where they also sell some groceries and a bar/restaurant (only open during the day). A supermarket is located in Donnersbach, about 13 km from the Riesneralm chalets.
