Your daily groceries have to be picked up in Altenmarkt, which is only 10 km away from Zauchensee. Altenmarkt is lively with many supermarkets, shops, restaurants and bars.
With its 25 ski lifts and 70 km's of slopes the skiarea of Zauchensee-Flachauwinkl-Kleinarl is suitable for all kinds of skiers. Snowboarders can enjoy themselves at the Absolute Park, with over 100 obstacles and e.g. a 7 meter high Superpipe. Zauchensee offers a direct connection with Flachauwinkl from where you can get to Kleinarl. The free skibus grants you the opportunity to discover the rest of the Sportwelt Amadé.
