Chalet Edelweiss am See is located in Thumersbach, on the south shore of Lake Zell and close to Zell am See. The chalet consists of seven carefully furnished apartments, most of which have a balcony overlooking the lake. The Areitbahn cable car in Zell am See/Schüttdorf, which takes you to the top of the Schmittenhöhe (2000 m), is 4.5 km away. This lift can be reached by car or with the free ski bus, which stops at the door. Furthermore, the snow-assured glacier ski area of Kaprun is less than 15 km away.

The centre of the ski resort Zell am See is located at approx. 6,5 km from the apartments Edelweiss am See. From Zell am See there are also two ski lifts that go up to the top of the Schmittenhöhe. Zell am See also has an attractive centre with many shops, restaurants, après-ski bars, as well as facilities such as an ice-skating rink and an indoor swimming pool. Layout

On the first floor of Chalet Edelweiss am See you will find the living/dining room with various dining areas, jointly well suited for 50 people. Next to the living/dining room you will find the professionally furnished kitchen. This has recently been completely renovated (2018) and includes six hot plates, an oven, microwave, two fridges with freezer, coffee machine, kettle and two dishwashers. Tableware, pans, cutlery, etc. are widely available here.

Outside there is a large terrace with views of the Zeller See and the Kaprun glacier. The terrace is located on the southwest, so you can enjoy the sun here! On the ground floor you will find the ski storage room with ski boot dryer and the sauna.

In total, there are 18 bedrooms and 11 bathrooms in Chalet Edelweis am See.
