- 4 chalets and apartments
- 1600 m altitude
This very varied and snow-certain area of Paradiski - Les Arcs offers over 200 km of slopes and has an excellent connection between the slopes and villages. The ski area consists of the following villages: Les Arcs 1600, 1800, 1950 and 2000. All villages in this area are car-free and very child-friendly. The villages are connected with each other via a ski bus. In the forms of entertainment Arc 1800 offers the most après-ski. Peisy-Vallandry is an excellent place for the whole family. It's a cosy village with mostly chalets, and not as many high-rise apartments that you usually found in the more modern villages.
This area has much to offer, for both beginning and advanced skiers. Arc 2000 is for the advanced skiers the best main attraction. The neighboring Aiguille Rouge has a number of good black pistes. Advanced skiers can also do 'Speed Flying', which is a combination of skiing and paragliding.
For snowboarders there is a varied snow park with jumps, a boarder cross and sometimes a half pipe between the lifts Arpette and Fretes. Nearby Arc 2000 there is a half pipe which is sometimes opened during the night.
The Vanoise Express goes from Peisey-Vallandry to Les Coches, in the ski area La Plagne. The Vanoise Express is a big cabin lift (for more than 200 people). It only takes four minutes for the lift to go to Les Coches! With this connection you can ski in two extensive ski regions, named 'Paradiski', covering over 425 km of slopes!
Cross-country skiers have only 5 kilometers of trails in each village. It is better for the real cross-country skier to visit Peisey-Vallandry with 43 kilometers of loipes in the valley.
It is possible to walk by foot to Vallandry, a journey of 3 kilometres through the forest. For the good walker Arc 2000 is attainable. Furthermore you can also make Bigfoot walks.
In Les Arcs and Peisey-Vallandry it's also possible to 'breakfast ski'. This means that you take a special lift to one of the mountain peaks to enjoy a breakfast during sunrise, and afterwards a guide will take you to make the first run of the day.
