SILVRETTA ARENA
The Silvretta Arena is situated in the Austria Paznauntal and is connected with Switzerland. This ski region is one of the most-known and most extensive area of Austria and tourism is the number one industry here. See all our chalets and apartments in Silvretta Arena

The villages Ischgl, Kappl, Galtür and See are all part of the Silvretta Arena, and have their own ski area. The villages are connected to one another by ski bus. The largest area in the ski region is the ski area of Ischgl, leading from Mondaine to the Swiss tax-free Samnaun.

In total the Silvretta Arena consists off 367 km slopes. Below the winter sport areas with their ski areas are listed:

Ischgl im Paznauntal: covering 239 km piste (47 km blue, 143 km red, 34 km black and 15 km ski route)
This area is diverse and snow-certain and is connected to the Swiss Samnaun. Ischgl is a modern winter sport destination and offers lively après-ski.

Kappl im Paznauntal: covering 42 km piste (10 km blue, 20 km red, 5 km black and 7 km ski route)
Kappl is a cosy village and is situated halfway the mountain. The destination offers a familiar ski area.

See im Paznauntal: covering 43 km piste (8 km blue, 20 km red, 8 km black and 7 km ski route)
See is the first village in the Paznauntal and has many wide pistes and good tour-ski possibilities.

Galtür im Paznauntal: covering 43 km piste (5 km blue, 26 km red and 12 km black)
Galtür is situated at the end of the Paznauntal and is very suitable for beginners and families with small children, due to its clear and organised pistes. Apart from the 43 km slopes, this area also consists of a few ski routes.

The various winter sport villages are situated relatively near to on another, offering the possibility to experience another area for a day. Each ski area has its own ski pass, with the option to extend to the Silvretta Arena ski pass.

Also for cross-country skiers you will find enough possibilities in the Silvretta Arena. There are a total of 73 kilometers of trails around the villages of Ischgl and Galtür.
