A true paradise for cross-country skiers and hikers

The relatively small but beautiful ski area Achensee is located on the border between Bavaria and Tyrol about 1.5 hours drive from the German city of Munich. The area lies at the foot of the Karwendel Mountains and is located near the large mountain lake Achensee. The ski area of the Achensee with a total of 53 km of varied slopes is formed by the smaller ski areas Christlum, Rofan, Zwölferkopf and the practice elevators at Steinberg and Wiesing. The areas are interconnected by ski buses.
