This smaller ski area, at 19 km from Innsbruck, is most certainly not an uninteresting ski area! You will find various slopes, which makes this area very suitable for skiers and snowboarders of each degree. Do you rather travel by train or by plane to your destination? The airport of Innsbruck is found nearby and there are several flights arriving from different airports in Europe. The ski pass is valid for three areas: Axamer Lizum (1580-2343 metres), Götzens (868-1887 metres) and the Muttereralm (830-1605 metres).

Due to its convenient location is the Axamer Lizum a very snow certain ski area. Both beginners as advanced skiers can challenge themselves here - and the best part is that all the slopes end at the same point in the area. Snowboarders can enjoy the snowpark in the area and there are a total of 41 km of slopes: 4 km blue, 27 km red and 10 km black ski runs. There are 5 chair lifts, 4 drag lifts and a cogwheel ski lift. From the Axamer Lizum you can enjoy two long ski runs, leading down to the valley of Götzens (7 km) and Mutters (6 km). The ski bus will then bring you back to Axamer Lizum.
You can also choose to stay in the smaller area of Götzens / Mutters. This area is more quiet and the chance that you have to wait in line for the ski lift is minimal. This area is suitable for both beginners area as advanced skiers and snowboarders. The long ski run to the valley of Mutters is a wide, blue slope and the ski run towards Götzens is a more challenging red slope. There recently opened a new snow park in the area. There are 4 ski lifts: 2 cable-cars, 1 chair lift and 1 drag lift.
