Quiet, family friendly winter sports village

The little, quiet village Annaberg is centrally located in the ski area of Dachstein-West, next to the village of Lungötz. The area with the massive Dachstein mountains as your backdrop is really wonderful. Annaberg is especially popular with families thanks to the beautiful children’s land. You can find this at the base station and children can easily practice here. Annaberg is a place for people looking for serenity, as you will not find exuberant après-ski in the village.

Walking is central in Annaberg, the place has even been declared the hiking destination of Austria! Because there are various hiking trails that run parallel to the cross-country trails, the cross-country skiers can also enjoy the beautiful surroundings. The area has around 30 km of trails, divided into three trails. You can choose for the classic way of cross-country skiing or for the sporty skate movements.

In Annaberg you will find a supermarket, several restaurants and a ski school.
