Stretched out and cosy winter sports village
Jochberg is a small, long village and ca. 9 km from Kitzbühel. From Jochberg you can access the Wagstätt ski lift to the Wurzhöhe (1739 m) and from there you can move further into the ski area of KitzSki Kitzbühel / Kirchberg. Since the S3 gondola is installed in Jochberg there is a perfect connection with Kitzbühel and Kirchberg with a total of 192 km of connected slopes. Beginners can practice on the beginner slope in the village – with the Hausleiten tow lift, where the ski school is situated. The experienced skiers can ski all the way down to the village through the woods.
In the village are a few restaurants and bars located. For lively après-ski you can visit Kitzbühel where you will also find a large swimming paradise with wellness facilities.
