The Koralpe, as the last mountain exceeding the 2000 metres in height in the south-east Alps is called, rises above the Lavant Valley and is visible from far.

The Koralpe covers 24 km of slopes, suitable for skiers and snowboarders of each level, and forms the 'Lavanttal', together with three smaller ski areas. The ski area has one chair lift and five drag lifts. For beginners, the Koralpe offers a number of blue slopes and drag lifts to practice, and a ski school can also be found in the area. Advanced skiers can use an approx 100 meter wide carving slope and a snowboard park.
For an additional fee you can also do a snowshoe or torchlight hike in the area.
