Nassfeld-Sonnleitn

The village Nassfeld Sonnleitn is located in the Nassfeld-Hermagor ski area in south of Carinthia. Due to its location it is often sunny, and the snow conditions are good.

There are a number of facilities available like e.g. three ski schools, a ski day care, ski rental, a number of restaurants, après-ski bars and a supermarket. Furthermore, besides skiing there are many other activities in and around Nassfeld Sonnleitn like e.g. an indoor pool, spa facilities, an ice rink, curling, a toboggan run and approximately 55 km of hiking trails. For cross-country skiers there is more than 80 km of trails available.

From the nearby situated village Tröpolach the Millennium Express departs. This ski lift will take you in 17 minutes to the 2,000 meter high Madritsche in the Nassfeld-Hermagor Ski Area. The differences in altitude in this ski area are not large, however even the more experienced skiers will not get bored.

In Nassfeld Sonnleitn are several lifts situated as well and it is possible to ski all the way back to the village at the end of the day. Furthermore the ski buses are free of charge.
