Haus im Ennstal is situated in the ski area of Dachstein Tauern and is located at the river Enns. The area exists out of nine villages that are interconnected and offer a total of 194 km of slopes. Moreover, there are ski busses driving between the villages. Due to the various interconnecting areas, everyone will have challenging and fun slopes.
The most popular village in the area is Schladming, ca. 10 minutes from Haus im Ennstal. Haus im Ennstal is known for its long cross-country trails – around the village is ca. 40 km of trails. From Haus im Ennstal are two ski lifts departing, the Tauern Seilbahn and the Hauser Kaibling lift. These will lead you to into the ski area, offering a perfect connection to the areas of Schladming and Rohrmoos.
Snowboarders will also enjoy themselves in this area and there are several fun parks like e.g. Superpark Dachstein in Schladming and the X-Point in Pichl.
In Haus im Ennstal are several bars, restaurants and shops situated. Moreover, there is a winter sport museum and a bowling alley and for sled possibilities and hiking paths you can head out to Pichl.
