Chalet Alternberger is built in typical regional style and is quietly located between the towns of Saalbach and Viehhofen. The chalet is located about 5.5 km from the center of Saalbach and about 2 km from the town of Viehhofen. The Schönleitenbahn cable car is located about 3 km from the chalet and will take you to the Wildenkarkogel (1960m). From here you can ski towards Saalbach or Leogang. The Schönleitenbahn can be reached by bus that stops at 150 meters from chalet Alternberger. It is also possible to go from Viehhofen, with the zellamseeXpress cabin elevator (about 1.8 km), to discover the ski area of Zell am See.
Chalet Alternberger has a cozy and friendly interior. Among other things, the chalet has free Wi-Fi, a ski and ski boot storage room, terrace and balconies. There is parking at the chalet. Voor een grote groep perfect. Fijn dat elke slaapkamer een badkamer heeft. Zowel de huisbaas als zijn vrouw, zeer aardige mensen. De inwonende persoon, nooit gezien, alleen af en toe gehoord. Was wel een beetje raar zo'n anoniem persoon ook in zo'n groot huis. Misschien toch fijn als hij/zij zich zou komen voorstellen.
