Together with Hinterglemm, the quieter village of Leogang, and the family-friendly area of Fieberbrunn, Saalbach forms the large Skicircus Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Leogang-Fieberbrunn. This interconnected ski area is extremely versatile, offering a wide range of slopes in all levels of difficulty. As a result, the area is perfect for both beginner and experienced skiers.

Connection Zell am See-Kaprun: 408 km of slopes to explore

The ski area around Saalbach has no less than 270 km of slopes. These are spread across the mountain ridges on both sides of the valley. With a cable car from Viehhofen, the ski area is also (partially) connected to Zell am See, giving you an additional 77 km of slopes on the Schmittenhöhe. As if that wasn’t enough, your ski pass in Saalbach gives you access to all the slopes in Saalbach-Hinterglemm-Leogang-Fieberbrunn as well as Zell am See-Kaprun. In total, that's 408 km of slopes. Pretty awesome!
