It is an ideal destination for beginners due to the fact that Niedernsill has its own beginners area with two slopes and two ski elevators. Do you want a little more challenge? Then you can go to the ski area in Kaprun (Maiskogelbahn 10 km away) or Zell am See (Areitexpress 12 km away). There is a free ski bus from Niedernsill to Piesendorf, Maiskogelbahn in Kaprun and the Areitexpress in Zell am See. There is also a free ski train to the Maiskogelbahn and the Areitexpress.
