The ski region of Chamrousse offers a varied piste network, and is located in the region Isère. In the area there are three modern stations: Chamrousse 1650 - Recoin, Chamrousse 1700 - Villages du Bachat en Chamrousse 1750 - Roche Béranger. These stations are interconnected through pistes, lifts and ski busses.



Chamrousse is an excellent winter sports destination for families with children and beginning skiers. The ski region offers around 90 km of slopes which is divided in an active part, left side of the area, and a more gentle part which is situated on the right of the area. The experienced skier can enjoy over 50 km of red and black pistes and two of the pistes were once used for the Olympics. There are also several off-piste possibilities and for snowboarders there are two fun parks, a boarder cross and a piste to practice slope style.

The highest point of the ski region Chamrousse is situated at an altitude of 2250 metres, nevertheless the area is still quite snow sure. There is also a large part of the region featured with snow cannons, assuring the good snow conditions. The Chamrousse region will also offer an amazing panoramic view.

Besides skiing and snowboarding, many other winter activities are possible in Chamrousse. There is a "Nordic Park" with nine cross-country trails and hiking trails, 17 kilometers of trails for snowshoe hikers and a toboggan run. There is also the opportunity for dog sledding, fat bike and many other activities, all on the Plateau d'Arselle.
