Ski area situated in the woods, Alpine meadows and other villages
The ski area of Espace Diamant is just 30 kilometres away from Albertville at the base of the Mont Blanc. In December 2005 Espace Cristal has been renamed to Espace Diamant. The ski area now consists of the five areas of Val d'Arly, Evasion Mont-Blanc and Espace Cristal.View chalets and apartments in Espace Diamant
The 192 km of slopes are suitable for well experienced as well as beginners and are situated in the woods, alpine hills and several villages. The villages of Praz sur Arly, Notre Dame de Bellecombe and Flumet are situated at the Mont Blanc side. These villages have somewhat lower, stretched and not to hard slopes and are therefore perfect for the beginning skiers and snowboarders. The other villages: Les Saisies, Crest-Voland, Cohennoz and Hauteluce mostly have green, blue and some red slopes.
Les Saisies offers beautiful loipes for cross country skiers, for which this area is famous due to it's beauty on one hand and thanks to the Olympic games of 1992 on the other hand. There are 120 kilometres of loipes. Pedestrians can walk or go touring on bigfoots on footpaths through the woody area of the cross country ski area.
The Mont Bisanne mountain near Les Saisies has a funpark for snowboarders. We do offer chalet-apartments in that village as well.
Espace Diamant is a ski area with sufficient possibilities for beginners and nature lovers (cross country skiers and walking).
