Wintersport Morillon Village
Morillon Village is a charming, authentic mountain village, situated in the valley of Giffre. In this area of Morillon the cosy centre is found where you can do your daily groceries at e.g. the bakery and the supermarket. Moreover, there are lively bars, restaurants and some après-ski facilities. Morillon Village is very suitable for families with children.
In the local snow park beginners and advanced skiers and snowboarders can have great fun! On a weekly basis there are competitions organised here.
There is a cable-car departing to Morillon 1100 Les Esserts, which is directly connected to the ski area 'Le Grand Massif' with over 265 km of slopes. If there is enough snow fall and the conditions are well it is even possible to ski all the way down to Morillon Village. Cross-country skiers can also enjoy themselves in Morillon. There are 40 km of cross-country trails in the valley.
