Chalet Le Dormeur is located in the district Vonnes in the ski village Châtel. The chalet is located between the Portes du Soleil and Gabelou chairlifts and the Super Châtel cabin lift, all three are approximately 800 meters away. Approx. every 30 minutes a ski bus goes to the ski lifts and the center of Châtel. The bus stop is only 75 meters away. The Super Châtel cabin lift takes you into the ski area of the same name, with connection to the Swiss part of Les Portes du Soleil. The new chair lifts Portes du Soleil and du Gabelou connect the Super Châtel ski area with the Linga / Pré la Joux ski area, which is connected to the slopes of Avoriaz.
At about 500 meters walking distance you will find the first amenities of the lively center of Châtel. There is a wide range of restaurants, bars and shops, but also a childcare centre, ski schools and a wellness centre with swimming pool can be found in the village.
The private sauna and outdoor whirlpool of chalet Le Dormeur offer you the necessary relaxation after a day in the mountains. The chalet also features facilities such as a wood-burning stove, Wi-Fi, ski storage and a terrace. There is parking space for 3 to 4 cars at the chalet. Snow chains are mandatory and may be needed to reach the chalet.
