The chalet Le Noisetier is located in the district of La Bechigne, about 1500 meters from the center of Châtel. From the center, the Super-Châtel cabin elevator takes you to the ski area of the same name, connecting to the Swiss part of Les Portes du Soleil. The center and the cabin elevator are easily accessible with the free ski bus that leaves 250 m from the chalet. You can also take the ski bus the other way, then you go to the Linga elevator. Through this elevator you have connection to the slopes richhitng Morzine, Avoriaz and Les Gets. The ski bus runs very frequently throughout the day.
All necessary facilities for a successful winter sports vacation can be found in the village. It is a great house with plenty of space. There is also enough space to park 3 cars easily. However, the single bedroom is a hutch and not a room. We ended up putting that bed in the room with 4 other beds (the room without a bathroom) and that went fine. Nevertheless, this house deserves a 9. Everything is available. The jacuzzi is serviced daily by 2 technicians who check if there is enough water in it and if the values of the water are good.
