General description

Chalet Le Roc is a cosy chalet in a peaceful location in the charming winter sports village of Châtel. The Linga chairlift, which takes you to the Linga/Pré-la-Joux ski area, is approximately 1.5 kilometres away. From here, you can enjoy some lovely ski tours and continue skiing towards the Super Châtel ski area via the slopes and two connecting chairlifts. From both ski areas, it’s also possible to cross the border into Switzerland, meaning you can ski in both France and Switzerland during a single day on the slopes. With no fewer than 650 kilometres of slopes in Les Portes du Soleil, there’s plenty of variety and you can discover a different part of this huge ski area every day! The ski bus stop is about 150 metres from the chalet. From here, you can easily catch the ski bus to the ski lift and start your day’s skiing.

The centre of Châtel is about 4 km away and offers a wide range of facilities, including various shops, restaurants and bars, a crèche and a ski school. There are a number of sports shops and a restaurant about 1.5 km away.

After a lovely day on the slopes, you can relax in the outdoor hot tub at Chalet Le Roc. It’s cosy indoors too, as the living room features an open fire where you can warm up and wind down at the end of the evening. There is also Wi-Fi available, and the chalet has a ski storage room with ski boot dryers, so you can easily store your ski gear. There are also three parking spaces available at the chalet.

Chalet Le Roc is let with a comprehensive catering service included! This means that the catering staff will prepare delicious meals for you. So you won’t have to worry about a thing and can fully enjoy everything the area has to offer.

Layout

The chalet is spread over several floors.

Cosy living room with a comfortable seating area, television and open fire.

Four bedrooms, two of which each have a double bed (160 x 200). One bedroom has a double bed (which can be separated into two single beds). The fourth bedroom has a double bed (140 x 190) and a single bed above it. All four bedrooms have an en-suite bathroom with a shower and toilet.

The staff have their own flat on the ground floor.
