Our accommodations are divided into different categories. The number of stars indicates the quality of the accommodation.

Stars are awarded based on the following criteria: interior, appearance, square footage, location, state of repair, etc. The number of stars awarded ranges from 1 to 5.

General description

Chalet Chelmer is located in the town of Morzine 1.3 kilometers from the center. The Pleney gondola elevator is about 3 kilometers from the chalet and the Super Morzine gondola elevator towards Avoriaz is 3.5 km away. The ski elevators can be reached by ski bus, there is a ski bus stop located 250 meters from the chalet.

The lively Morzine has a nice center with stores, supermarkets, restaurants and bars. In addition, the village offers a number of facilities such as an ice skating rink, toboggan run, indoor pool and wellness facilities. There are plenty of hiking opportunities in Morzine and the surrounding area. There are about 95 km of hiking trails. Other activities you can do include cross-country skiing, paragliding, snowmobile riding and heli-skiing.

Chalet Chelmer has a wonderful outdoor sauna and outdoor whirlpool with stunning views of the mountain world. So after an active day outdoors, you can relax. Furthermore, the chalet has a ski storage room and three parking spaces.

Chalet Chelmer is rented including extensive catering service. So you do not have to worry about anything and can fully enjoy everything the area has to offer!

Catering includes:
7x Breakfast Buffet; including coffee, tea, fruit juice, French bread, (chocolate) croissants, cheese, various cold cuts and sweet toppings.
6x Dinner (between 18:00 and 19:30); extensive 3-course dinner, including soft drinks, juices, beer and a suitable wine, and after the meal a cup of coffee or tea.

Throughout the day drinks (except strong alcoholic beverages and in reasonable moderation) are included.

In the middle of the week, the chalet boy or girl has a day off. On this day, breakfast is self-service and you are expected to provide dinner at your own expense.

In order to provide optimal service, the chalet staff themselves also stay in the chalet. They have their own bedroom and bathroom, these are not further described in the text.

Layout

The chalet is spread over three floors.

On the first floor is the kitchen and dining room. Through the dining room there is access to the terrace where the sauna and whirlpool can be found. One bedroom with three single beds and en-suite bathroom with shower and toilet. Bedroom with three single beds and en-suite bathroom with bath and toilet. There is also a ski storage room on the first floor.

On the second floor you will find a cozy living room with sitting area, television, wood stove and dining table. Through the living room there is access to the balcony. One bedroom with three single beds and en-suite bathroom with shower and toilet.

On the second floor are two bedrooms, one with a double bed and en-suite bathroom with bath and toilet. One bedroom with two single beds. Bathroom with shower and toilet.
