Wintersport Sint-Jean-d'Aulps (near Morzine)

The picturesque village of Saint-Jean-d'Aulps is located in the Vallée d'Aulps, in the heart of the skiing region Les Portes du Soleil. The village has its own ski area on the Roc d'Enfer, with about 50 km of slopes. This area has possibilities for skiers of all levels! The Grand Terche cable car that takes you to this area is located about 3 km outside the village, but can be reached by ski bus or car (there is parking at the elevator). To reach the larger area of Les Portes du Soleil you can take the car or ski bus to Morzine. From Morzine there are ski elevators to Avoriaz and Les Gets. In the small, friendly center of Saint-Jean-d'Aulps you will find all major amenities, including a supermarket, bakery, sports stores with ski rental and a number of bars / restaurants. There is an ESF ski school located near the Grand Terche gondola elevator.
