The health resort of Les Bains is situated on the border of the National Park 'De la Vanoise', in the heart of the Vallée de Tarentaise. There are many facilities in this friendly village for a great holiday, such as shops, casino's, a movie theatre, café's and restaurants. In The Grand Spa des Alpes you can completely relax in one of the many saunas, or you can let yourself pampered with a massage and/or beauty treatment in this wonderful wellness center.
The central location of the village makes it an excellent starting point to explore the Three Valleys ski area. The great advantage of Brides Les Bains is that it's significantly cheaper compared to the larger resorts in the area.
From the village centre you can take the Olympe cable car to the very heart of the Trois Vallées ski area, which takes about 25 minutes. At the end of the day you will return to Brides les Bains with this cabin lift. The cabin lift has several stops so you can first go down by the blue or red slopes. By good snow conditions, it is possible for freeriders to ski down to the village (not for beginners). You can ski from the ridge to the river through the forest and orchards.
Brides Les Bains is situated at the foot of the valley of Méribel, and is also reachable by snowshoes. It is even a possibility that you come across some local wild life during one of your hikes.
