Winter-sport village at a sunny location in a diversified ski area
Courchevel is divided into five villages, one of which is Courchevel 1650. The other villages are Saint Bon (1100 meters), Courchevel 1300/Le Praz, Courchevel 1550 and Courchevel 1850.
Courchevel 1650 is conveniently located on a sunny plateau. From the village the ski lifts take you to the varied slopes of Courchevel. In Courchevel 1650 mainly green and blue piste are located, which is ideal for beginners and families with children. For snowboarders, there are several challenging fun parks in the ski area.
In the village you will find quite a few high-rise buildings. Compared with the chic Courchevel 1850 the village of Courchevel 1650 is much more affordable. In the village there are many facilities, like supermarkets, shops, cosy restaurants and lively après-ski. Other things to do in the village and surrounding area include hiking, cross-country skiing, ice skating, tobogganing runs, touring around with dog sleds and snow scooters.
