Orelle

Orelle is a small, charming village, situated in the Maurienne Valley, a mountainous area nearby the National Park of Vanois. This authentic village has 400 inhabitants and is separated from Val Thorens by the Cime de Caron (3200m). There is a cable-car departing from Orelle leading in 15 minutes to the ski area of Val Thorens, from where the other ski areas of the large Les Trois Vallées can easily be reached. To return to Orelle you need to make use of the cable-car again, as the village can not be reached by ski.

There are a number of facilities available in Orelle like e.g. a restaurant, two bars, a shop with local products and a small supermarket.
