General description

Chalet Balcon Cime de Caron is a beautiful chalet, renovated entirely in traditional style with natural stone and wood. This spacious and comfortable chalet is located in the quiet mountain village of Praranger, located below Les Menuires (approx. 4 km). From the chalet you have a view of the mountains of the Belleville valley.

The Trois Vallées ski area starts at the slopes and ski elevators in Le Bettaix, about 1 km from the chalet. When there is sufficient snow, skiing back to near the house is possible (no piste, so not for beginners). A free ski bus leaves approx. 300 meters away, however, it does not run frequently. Parking facilities near the chalet.

The center of Les Menuires is about 5 minutes drive from the chalet. Here you will find a ski school, large sports center with swimming pool, ice rink, restaurants, stores and all kinds of entertainment venues.

Layout

The chalet is spread over three floors. Access from the ground floor to the first floor is only possible via an external staircase.

On the first floor, there is a spacious, cosy living room with a seating area featuring a fireplace, a television, a dining area and an open-plan kitchen equipped with, amongst other things, a gas hob, a large fridge, an oven, microwave, toaster, raclette set, coffee machine, kettle and dishwasher. The chalet also features a ski storage room, ski boot dryer, washing machine, hairdryer, Wi-Fi internet connection, underfloor heating, a terrace and a south-facing balcony.

On the ground floor, there are two bedrooms, each with two single beds (one of which is a walk-through room). There is one bathroom with a shower and toilet.

On the first floor, you’ll find one bedroom with a double bed (140 cm wide, 190 cm long), a separate bathroom with a shower and a separate toilet.

The second floor has four bedrooms, two of which are triple rooms, each with three single beds, one small bedroom with a double bed (140 cm wide, 190 cm long) and one bedroom with two single beds. Two bathrooms, one with a shower and one with a bath. Separate toilet.

Although this chalet has more sleeping places, the maximum occupancy is 15 people.
