Chalet Algonquin is a beautifully renovated 18th-century farmhouse situated in Peisey-Nancroix, in the small village of Moulin. The Lonzagne lift, which takes you to the Vanoise Express, is approximately 1.2 km away. From here, two impressive ski areas lie at your feet. Thanks to this service, you can fully enjoy your holiday and the slopes of Les Arcs! In consultation with the staff, you can make use of the private shuttle bus. In the morning, they’ll take you to the ski lift, and in the afternoon, you’ll be picked up at a pre-arranged time and place.

Chalet Algonquin features modern décor and accommodates 14 people. After an active day in the snow, you can relax in the whirlpool and reflect on all your adventures on the slopes. The chalet also has a cosy open fire, the perfect spot to round off the day together with a drink. Public parking spaces are available along the public road near the chalet.

The chalet staff have their own accommodation in the basement of the chalet. This area has a separate entrance, but is also accessible from the chalet via the garage.

Catering Service

If you are looking for a carefree ski holiday, then catering service is an absolute must! The chalet staff takes care of the meals, does the dishes and cleans the common areas of the chalet.

The catering staff consists of Dutch-speaking persons. They have one day a week off (on Thursday). On this day, breakfast is self-service and you are expected to dine at a restaurant at your own expense. Unfortunately, the kitchen can’t be used by the guests.

The catering service includes the following:

6x Breakfast :including coffee, tea, yoghurt, fresh bread, and hot options such as an omelette or pancakes, etc. Once a week breakfast is self-service; the catering staff will make sure that all breakfast supplies are available. There are no hot options for breakfast that day.

6x: homemade cake is served with coffee and tea, the perfect way to relax and recharge after a day on the slopes.

6x Dinner 3-course dinner consisting of a starter, main course and dessert, using fresh local products. Wine, beer and soft drinks are included during dinner (to a reasonable degree).

Examples of starters: beetroot carpaccio, vitello tonnato.
Examples of main courses: tartiflette, organic chicken with a creamy tarragon velouté, roasted potatoes with fresh herbs and haricots verts, or salmon trout with lemon and shallot beurre blanc, caramelised carrots and parsnips, and potato mousseline.
Examples of desserts: tiramisu, chocolate mousse, and an extensive cheese platter.

Coffee and tea are free of charge throughout the day. Other drinks and snacks are available for a fee from the chalet staff. The drinks and snacks are reasonably priced! It is also possible to bring your own drinks and snacks.

If desired, a special children’s menu can be served for children (to be requested in advance).

Upon arrival, the catering staff will welcome you in the chalet and there is the possibility to discuss any wishes etc. In order to be able to serve breakfast on time in the morning and to carry out the other activities, the catering staff has its own key to the chalet.
