Alleghe

In the Northern part of the region Veneto, South of the Marmolada, Alleghe is situated. Alleghe is an authentic and cosy village at a lake with a number of bars, shops and restaurants. Moreover, there is an indoor swimming pool and an ice-rink.

Alleghe is directly connected to 80 km of slopes an at ca. 10 km outside the village, a cable-car is situated, leading to the Marmolada Glacier. This lift gives direct access to ca. 465 km of piste (incl. the well-known Sella Ronda). From Alleghe there is a bus departing to the Marmolada.

In the past 30 years the ski region of SkiCivetta, covering the ski area of Alleghe as well, has grown out as one of the known ski areas in the Dolomites. The Pianni di Pezzè cable-car departs from Alleghe, and from the top it is possible to ski all the way down to the village via the red slopes Reintro and Ru de Porta.

The ski region of SkiCevetta is recognized for its high standards of ski schools and the famous first World War Ski tour. During this tour you pass by trenches, forts and communication trenches at the foot of e.g. the Civetta and Pelmo.(
