There are also plenty of challenging options for advanced skiers; at the northern side of the ski area there are a number of off-piste possibilities and there are two snow parks. Furthermore, the ski area is quite snow certain due to the large offer in artificial snow-machines, spread throughout the area.
The ski area of La Norma exists out of two parts, the 'Alpine Area', with beautiful views over the valley and the lower situated area 'Sub Alpine' - with slopes leading down through the green woods.
There is a large offer in activities in and around La Norma like e.g. snowshoe hiking, sledding, night skiing (Tuesday night), closing night show (Thursday night) and dogsledding tours. Moreover, you can go heli-skiing in the area: you will be dropped with a guide, by helicopter, just over the border in Italy, where you can enjoy the beautiful views and experience a memorable moment! Cross-country skiers can better choose the area of Aussois with a large offer in trails. In La Norma you will not find lavish après-ski, but you can eat out or have a drink in a bar.
