Kitzbühel is a charming village that has developed as a fashionable and luxurious resort. It has a charming medieval village centre with many restaurants, bars and nightclubs. Furthermore, there is a theatre, a casino, a ski museum and an indoor public swimming pool.
The ski area has 234 km of slopes. Kitzbühel is home to the famous Hahnenkamm races and offers exhilarating runs for skiers and snowboarders of all abilities.
In the village centre the Hahnenkammbahn departs and leads to the Hahnenkamm, the starting point of the large skiing area.
Kitzbühel has several cross-country trails that lead through both the forest and open areas and from here you have access to the skiing region of Wilder Kaiser. Furthermore, there are several organized tours for hikers through the area and its surroundings.
The après-ski in the area is very lively, with many bars, pubs and nightclubs. The Londoner and Club Take Five are the most popular in Kitzbühel.
