Chalet Sonnenalm is a luxury chalet on the outskirts of the village Mauterndorf. The spacious chalet is nice and light through the many windows which gives you a wonderful view in all directions. After a day on the slopes you can enjoy the last rays of the sun on the terrace or dive straight into the wellness centre.
The Mauterndorf I (practice elevator) is located at 2.8 km from chalet Sonnenalm. The free ski bus stops at 100 meters from the chalet so in principle you can leave your car there for the whole week. Because the ski area is not too big, it is conveniently arranged and ideal for families with children. The more experienced skiers can also enjoy themselves in the Lungau ski region. On the Grosseck Speiereck you will find a challenging, black slope but you can also ski on the Fanningberg and in Katschberg-Aineck with the SkiLungau ski pass. These ski areas are located about 8.5 km from Mauterndorf. The ski area of Obertauern is about a fifteen minute drive away and is therefore also among the possibilities.
The center of Mauterndorf is within walking distance of chalet Sonnenalm. In this small center you will find a (sports) store with rental facilities, some restaurants and a bakery.
Chalet Sonnenalm has a parking lot.
This chalet consists of three floors.
Second floor:
Living room with sitting area, television, wood stove and dining area. Fully equipped kitchen with, among other things, ceramic hob, oven, microwave, refrigerator with freezer compartment, dishwasher, coffee maker (filter) and kettle.
Bedroom with double bed, television and en-suite bathroom with shower and sink. Separate toilet.
Second floor:
Three bedrooms, two each with a double bed and television and one with a double bed, television and en-suite bathroom with shower, two sinks and toilet. Bathroom with shower and two sinks. Separate toilet.
Basement:
Bedroom with double bed, bunk bed, television and en-suite bathroom with shower and sink. Separate toilet.
Ski storage room with ski boot dryer, washing machine, dryer, table tennis and garage. Wellness with sauna, spa bath, relaxation room and shower.
There is also a terrace and balcony.
