Wintersport Sankt Margarethen im Lungau

The small village of Sankt Margarethen is centrally located in Salzburger Lungau. At first it looks like a farmers village but in last couple of years many holiday homes have been built. The village is situated in a wide valley and directly at the base of the Katschberg-Aineck ski area at 1.065 metres altitude. The ski area has about 70 kilometers of slopes.

In the village itself there is a direct lift connection to the Aineck mountain and there are several slopes. The village is easy to reach from the high way. The village is not known to the general public, but especially to lovers of peace and rest. The authentic winter sports village is characterized by tranquility, friendly people and beautiful nature.
