Wintersport Mallnitz

The cozy winter sports village of Mallnitz is located in Carinthia, a lesser-known ski area in Austria. The village does not have its own lift but is close to the Ankogel ski area. The Mölltal Glacier is also easily accessible (25-minute drive away). In the village itself there are few real après-ski possibilities, this is because the village does not directly connect to a ski area. At the base station of the ski area Ankogel, you will be able to find one of them.

Depending on when you arrive, snowshoe hikes, Nordic walking, sleigh rides and torch hikes are organized. In the surroundings of the village you will find about 10 km of hiking trails and 25 km of cross-country trails. These paths run through the beautiful surroundings around Mallnitz.

Because of the Mölltal Glacier, there is always snow and this village is a real gem for the real ski enthusiast. It is the ideal destination for both beginners and advanced. You can enjoy a great winter sports holiday with the family or friends here at a good price. It is especially an ideal place for a family holiday with the children, but also touring skiers and snowboarders will like this village.
