In a quiet and sunny location in Forstau, close to Schladming lies the family-friendly chalet park Almdorf Auszeit Fageralm. The park has a very convenient location, right next to the valley station of the Fageralm ski area. After a day on the slats, ski right back to the front door of your own chalet!
The Fageralm is a conveniently arranged ski area with about 15 km of slopes, ideal for family skiing or if a small area is enough for you. Do you want to make some more kilometers? You can! At about 7 minutes drive is the ski elevator Reiteralm with a direct connection to the ski area of Schladming with 123 km of slopes. The ski bus stops at the chalet park.
A few minutes' walk away you reach the small center of Forstau with a bakery, store, restaurant, bank and ski school. For a wide choice of restaurants, bars and après-ski venues you can go to the nearby Schladming at a 15-minute drive.
The chalets at the park all have a private sauna where you can relax after an active day on the slopes. You can park your car at the chalet or in the general parking lot and there is a charging station for electric cars. Furthermore, there is a ski storage room with ski boot warmers, free Wifi and sandwich service is available.

Pleasant and complete house, conveniently located. You walk right to the ski class for the kids and the chairlift for the small ski area. The ski bus to the larger area is also within walking distance and not crowded. Frequency of ski bus in high season was low. Perfect when you have a party with small children and experienced skiers!
