In Wagrain, a ski lift goes up on each of the village. On one side you go up the Grafenberg towards Alpendorf, and on the other side you go up the Grießenkareck towards Flachau. It doesn't matter which side of the village you are on, because the 2 large G-link gondolas connect the two mountains!
In the ski area of Snow Space Salzburg you will find mainly red slopes, but beginners can also practice well on some blue slopes. Advanced skiers can also find a number of black runs.
Wagrain is a cozy and attractive village with good après-ski options. There are several restaurants and a number of bars and discos. There is also a beautiful indoor swimming paradise in the village with sauna, solarium and slides and water cannons for the children.
For cross-country skiers and hikers there are plenty of possibilities in the area. The Tauernloipe with a length of 60 km leads by the village of Wagrain and other areas. Hikers can hike via Kleinarl to the lake the ‘Jägersee’.
