Our accommodations are divided into different categories. The number of stars indicates the quality of the accommodation.

Stars are awarded based on the following criteria: interior, appearance, square footage, location, state of repair, etc. The number of stars awarded ranges from 1 to 5.

Traditionally furnished chalet with private sauna, at Hinterglemm

General description

Chalet Silian is a beautiful, traditionally furnished chalet, near the village of Hinterglemm. The chalet has a large south-facing terrace, a private sauna (to be used between 17.00 and 19.00) and even its own house bar!

The nearby villages of Hinterglemm and Saalbach together form the center of the popular ski area Skicircus Saalbach-Hinterglemm. Both Saalbach and Hinterglemm have a compact, car-free center with high-level après-ski. You can start with the après-ski in the afternoon and continue until the late hours! You can also go on the more cultural tour thanks to the folk museum, the ski museum and the art gallery. There is also a fitness center and an indoor tennis court, among other things.

The ski bus stop is located about 50 meters away, which allows you to easily bridge the 500 meters to the Mitteregg elevator. Thanks to this drag elevator, after a bit of skiing you will reach the Bergfriedlift drag elevator, and from there you can easily reach the larger gondolas. Advanced skiers can ski back to the chalet in good snow conditions, with the last bit being off-piste.

The skiing area of Hinterglemm and Saalbach is one of the most complete and cozy skiing areas of the Alps. The ski area has many modern ski elevators and the slopes are accessible to all levels. From Hinterglemm you can make beautiful day trips to Saalbach, Kolling, Vorderglemm and Leogang.

Chalet Sillian is rented including extensive catering service! So you don't have to worry about anything anymore and can fully enjoy everything the area has to offer.

The catering includes:
7x Breakfast buffet; including coffee, tea, fruit juice, baguettes, (chocolate) croissants, cheese, various meats and sweet spreads.
6x Dinner (between 18:00 and 19:30); extensive 3-course dinner, including soft drinks, juices, beer and an appropriate wine, and after the meal a cup of coffee or tea.

Throughout the day, drinks (except strong alcoholic beverages and in reasonable moderation) are included.

In the middle of the week, the chalet staff has a day off. On this day, breakfast is self-service and you are expected to provide dinner at your own expense.

To provide optimal service, the chalet staff themselves also stay in the chalet. They have their own bedroom and bathroom, these are not described further in the text.

Layout

This chalet is spread over four floors.

Cozy and spacious living/dining room with a sitting area, television, fully equipped kitchen including a stove, oven, microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, kettle, dishwasher, dining area and a cozy house bar. Furthermore, the chalet has a large south-facing terrace, a ski storage room, a private sauna (only to be used between 17:00 and 19:00) with shower and free Wi-Fi internet connection. There is ample parking near the chalet.

There are twelve bedrooms in total: six each with a double bed or two single beds , three 3-bedded rooms each with a double bed and a single bed or three single beds (one of these 3-bedded rooms is divided over two rooms). One bedroom with a single bed.

Ten bathrooms, nine of which are en-suite. Nine with a shower (some of these are separate shower stalls in the rooms) and one with a bathtub (four of the bathrooms also have a toilet). Four separate toilets, one of which is in one of the bedrooms.

On the first floor is an apartment with two bedrooms, each with a double bed or two single beds. Bathroom with shower and a separate toilet.
