Cosy winter sport village, situated in a sunny valley
St. Johann in Tirol is an atmosperic village and is situated in a broad and sunny valley at the foot of the Wilder Kaiser and the Kitzbüheler Horn. The snow-sure north-side of the Kitzbüheler offers 62 km of slopes and are very suitable for beginners and intermediate skiers – perfect for families with children.View chalets and apartments in Sankt Johann in Tirol
If you seek more pistes you can reach out to the neighbouring villages of Ellmau (ca 11 km) with over 306 km of piste on the Wilder Kaiser Brixental and Kitzbühel (ca. 12 km) with over 170 km of slopes on the Kitzbüheler Alpen.
St. Johann is both interesting for skiers and snowboarders, as for cross-country skiers: the village offers about 160 km of trails and is one of the biggest cross-country centres of Austria! The trails pass by the Wilder Kaiser mountains and through beautiful grasslands and woods.
Enthusiast freestyle skiers and snowboarders can enjoy the 60 metres long half-pipe and the fun park that is available in the ski area. Hikers can use the 100 km of groomed winter hiking paths!
There is a broad offer in restaurants and nightlife in the centre of St. Johann in Tirol. Moreover there is a national museum, an art gallery and a concert hall available in the village and there are a number of wellness facilities.
