Hochfügen

The village of Hochfügen is located at the beginning of the Zillertal. Together with the village of Fügen (545 meters) it forms an ideal combination: a modern and snow-sure ski area in Hochfügen, where everything is focused on skiing combined with a pleasant après-ski in Fügen.

From Hochfügen there are several lifts that will bring you into the ski area. Through the Wedelexpress, the ski area of Hochfügen is connected to Hochzillertal-Kaltenbach, giving you 92 km of continuous slopes. The ski area of Hochfügen-Hochzillertal is unfortunately not connected to the Spieljoch ski area in Fügen, but you have access to both areas with one ski pass.

Hochfügen is a fairly young village that is focused on the active, fanatic winter sports who wants to make long skiing days. The après-ski starts at the end of the afternoon. However, if you want to après-ski until the early hours, then you are better off in Fügen.

Snowboarders can enjoy themselves in a fun park with half-pipe in Spieljoch, Hochfügen or in Hochzillertal. There are a number of beautiful hiking trails and cross-country trails in the immediate area.

The road to Hochfügen, approx. 15 km, is usually only accessible with snow chains.
