La Rosière

The quiet and cosy winter sport village La Rosière has an authentic character and is situated in the heart of the Haute-Tarentaise in the French Alps. There is an old city centre with lots of newly built chalets and apartments built with lots of wood, nature stone and slated roofs. Moreover, there is a Spa facility.

La Rosière is the perfect winter sport destination for families with children. The village presents the brand ´Family Plus´ and invests continuously in the improvement of the facilities for families. La Rosière features a kids club for children from 18 months to 12 years where various activities are organised. Moreover, there is e.g. an ice-rink, a bowling court and several family-friendly restaurants and accommodations.

The village of La Rosière is perfectly hidden between the woods at an altitude of 1850 metres. The village offers 70 km of wide slopes, which mainly easy runs and situated in the sun during most part of the days. Moreover, it is optional to access the neighbouring Italian village of La Thuile, where another 60 km of snow-certain pistes are situated. Both areas form the international ski area Espace San Bernardo, with a mix of cultures. Furthermore, it is possible to go heli-skiing in Italy!

Cross-country skiers in La Rosière can enjoy the 10 km trails, with a beautiful view over the valley. Alongside these trails the hiking paths are situated.
