Val d'Isère

The ski region of Val d'Isere is snow certain and offers well developed ski lift system. At the Bellevarde there is a cable-car that leads to the top and from here there is a blue and black ski run that lead to Val d'Isere. Moreover there is a direct connection from Bellevarde to the ski area of Tignes, offering 150 km of slopes.

Among snowboarders Val d'Isere is very loved, especially due to the extensive offer in off-piste tracks. In La Daille there is also a snow park located for the free style skiers and snowboarders.

For the cross-country skiers there is a beautiful tour set out through the rough nature and the narrow valley. The tour starts at Le Chatelard and ends at the chairlift Le Manchet. There is also a trail available starting at an altitude of 2700 meters, on the Solaise. For hikers there is a challenging, but beautiful, tour leading through the valley of Valleé du Manchet. This tour starts at the ice rink and leads up to Le Manchet. Another active tour is available on snow shoes.

Besides the ski activities that are offered in Val d’Isere it is also possible to enjoy the wide range of other activities in this area, such as the unique Bun J Ride - a combination of a ski jump, bungee jumping and a zip wire (open from Sunday to Friday), motor tours on ice, dog sledding tours, snow kiting, segway tours, helicopter tours and it is even possible to go ice climbing on the ice waterfall in La Daille.
