La Rosière (Espace San Bernardo)

You don’t want to choose between winter sports in Italy or France? Then this region is the perfect choice. Escpace San Bernardo is an international region, due to its location in between the French village La Rosière and the Italian village La Thuille. With the extensive lift card it is possible to enjoy more than 152 km of slopes.



La Rosière, the French part, offers 39 km of pistes accessible through 20 different lifts. These lifts are also functional for mono skiers and skiers with an handicap. Other facilities within this area are the snow park, a big jump, slalom and 14 km of groomed pistes for cross-country skiers. As La Rosière is the only area that is located on the South of Haute-Tarentaise, all sun and snow records are broken here, compared to its neighboring areas.

With the in 2018 newly built 6-persons chairlift, Moulins en Mont Valaisan, you can reach the highest reachable point of the area (2800 metres). From this point you will have a wonderful view on the Mont Blanc and the Mont Pourri. With this new construction project five red slopes have been added.

La Rosière is an unspoiled area, located and hidden away in the woods and still shows its authenticity. Around La Rosière there are some gentle pistes located and in the direction of Italy the runs become a bit more challenging. The longest run can be found at Le Belvédère (2641 meter) towards La Thuile (1441 meter) and has a length of 11 km.

The village of La Thuile is a small but nice village with an authentic charactre.
