From Résidence Le Grand Lodge, the vast Les Portes du Soleil ski area offers a wealth of possibilities, all within easy reach. The Portes du Soleil and Gabelou chairlifts are located in the Vonnes district, approximately 800 metres away. The Gabelou chairlift gives you access to the Linga/Pré-la-Joux area, with a link to Avoriaz and Morzine. The Portes du Soleil chairlift takes you to the Super Châtel area, from where you can easily ski on to the Swiss part of Les Portes du Soleil. Would you prefer to head out onto the slopes from the charming centre of Châtel? The Super Châtel gondola lift is approximately 1.1 kilometres away. The ski bus stop is situated about 200 metres from the residence and takes you quickly and easily to the various ski lifts. Want to explore as much of this vast ski area as possible? With the comprehensive Les Portes du Soleil ski pass, you’ll have access to the entire area, boasting no fewer than 650 kilometres of slopes.
Châtel is an authentic winter sports village with a cosy atmosphere. Round off your day’s skiing in one of the bars, pubs or restaurants and enjoy the lively après-ski. The village also has ski schools, sports shops and a crèche.
Résidence Le Grand Lodge offers cosy apartments and wonderful wellness facilities. After an active day on the slopes, take a dip in the indoor or outdoor swimming pool, or relax in the whirlpool or sauna (for a fee). The perfect way to unwind completely after a day in the snow. There is also Wi-Fi (for a fee) and parking in the garage (for a fee and subject to availability).
