General description
Chalet Le Passe-Temps with private sauna is quietly situated in the picturesque village of Saint-Jean-d'Aulps, about 6 km from Morzine. Saint-Jean-d'Aulps has its own ski area with approx. 50 km of slopes, suitable for all levels. The Grande Terche cabin lift, which gives you access to this area, is about 2.5 km away from the chalet and can be reached by car or ski bus (ski bus stop about 250 metres). From Morzine you have access to the larger area of Les Portes du Soleil, via the gondolas Pleney and Super Morzine (both located about 8 km away). Morzine is easily accessible by car, but there is also a ski bus connection.
Saint-Jean-d'Aulps has a small, friendly centre, but with all the necessary facilities. You will find a supermarket, bakery, sports shops and a number of bars/restaurants. At the Grand Terche ski lift there is an ESF ski school. A large supermarket can be found at Montriond, about 2.5 km away. For a wider range of amenities you can go to Morzine.
Chalet Le Passe-Temps is spacious and has a warm appearance due to the use of wood. The Finnish sauna is a great place to relax after an active day on the slopes, but you can also warm up in the chalet by the fireplace or entertain yourself with a game of pool billiards. Furthermore, the chalet is equipped with a ski storage and Wi-Fi and all bedrooms have private bathrooms! In the garden you will find three terraces and a children's playground. There is ample parking at the chalet, including a carport for two cars.
Layout
This chalet consists of three floors.
The spacious living room is located on the ground floor and has a sitting area with fireplace, television and DVD player, a dining table and a fully equipped open kitchen with a stove, refrigerator, freezer, oven, microwave, toaster, kettle, dishwasher and filter coffee maker. Furthermore, this chalet has a Finnish sauna (4-6 persons) with shower, gameroom with pool table and table football, Wi-Fi, a ski storage room with washing machine, dryer and second refrigerator, three terraces and several balconies.
On the first floor you will find four bedrooms, two bedrooms with two single beds each and two bedrooms with three single beds each. In the basement you will find another bedroom with a double bed. All bedrooms have their own bathroom, four of them with a shower and one with a bath. In addition, four bedrooms have access to a balcony. There is a separate toilet on each floor.
