Wintersport La Clusaz

La Clusaz is an authentic and cosy mountain village in the ski area of Massif des Aravis. La Clusaz is situated in the very heart of the Aravis mountains that has about 130 km of both easy accessible as challenging slopes. This charming village combines skiing and snowboarding on top level with skiing and snowboarding for beginners. The area has winding forest trails, wider green and blue slopes for beginners and for the advanced skiers there is a number of challenging red slopes and a single black one. The village is known as an authentic French mountain village with style. Traditionally, the winter sports village consists of farms and many wooden apartment buildings but during the years all kinds of chic shops and good restaurants have opened their doors and now it has all the necessary facilities. The village has remained authentic despite the tourism and manages to preserve its traditions and typical architecture, the municipality wants keep it that way. So you will not be finding high building any time soon. The warm hospitality of the locals is one of the plus points!

After an active day in the open air, you can enjoy the cozy aprés-ski that La Clusaz has to offer. There are some cozy cafes, restaurants, hotels, shops and supermarkets around the church, a cinema and an ice skating rink. The 'Aqua Center' has swimming pools, wellness and fitness facilities. It is also possible to go (snowshoe) walking/hiking and cross-country skiing. Some activities are organized for both young and old.
