The ski region of Massif des Aravis is situated in the Northern Alps and is stretched between the Mont Blanc and Annecy. The region exists out of two ski areas: La Clusaz and Le Grand Bornard. These areas are connected with one another through the ski bus. In the region there are four authentic villages situated: La Clusaz, Le Grand Bornard, Manigod and Saint-Jean de Sixt all offering wooden chalets with cosy alleys.

Due to the location of the Massif des Aravis ski region, its very snow sure. This region offers a total of 220 km of varied slopes and is therefore suitable for skiers and snowboarders of each level. The region is also named as a good freestyle area as it offers two fun parks, snowpark l’Etale, a freerider piste and other facilities that suit the needs of a true freestyler.
The La Clusaz Ski area consists of more then 50 ski lifts and offers for beginners gentle and wide slopes on the sunny Beauregard plateau and also for the experienced skier there are some challenging runs. The child-friendly Le Grand Bornard is divided into four areas and offers a variety of landscaped and sloped for all levels. The hardest pistes can be found at Le Lachet and for families with children the pistes on the hills of Roc des Arces are recommended. The Le Grand Bornard ski region is also suitable for cross-country skieers, offering over 100 km of trails.
