Quiet and charming ski village with possibilities for each ski level

Le Grand Bornard is situated at the foot of the mountain Le Lachet. Around this mountain there are 40 ski lifts located and about 80 km of slopes. Certain parts of this ski area are very suitable for beginners, whereas other parts are identified as difficult and very challenging, more suitable for experienced skiers. An advantage of the ski area of Le Grand Bornard is the many sun hours it offers, and still it is very snow-certain. The ski area La Clusaz is also easily accessible due to the ski bus transferring between the areas.
Le Grand Bornard is a quiet and charming village with many wooden chalets. The village offers a great variety of restaurants and bars and you can also find here a bakery, supermarkets, sport shops and a ski school with day care possibilities.
There are besides skiing also other possibilities available in the area like swimming in the indoor swimming pool or going ice-skating, but you can also go hiking, cross-country skiing or tobogganing. For cross-country skiers there is over 55 km of trails available for all levels, situates in the Le Grand Bornard surroundings.
