Small winter-sport village, known for its Olympic bob sledding track

La Roche is a small village, situated below Plagne 1800, in the heart of the ski area of La Plagne. La Roche is found at the border of the access road towards the mountain stations of La Plagne.

The village is known for it bob-sledding track, built and used for the Olympics in 1992. Since this year the track has remained open for bob-sledding, sledding and skeleton. There are National and International teams training here and at the end of the day it is even possible to try the track in a bob sled.

Since the winter of 2006-2007 there is a chair lift, leading from La Roche to Aime La Plagne. Plagne 1800, Plagne Centre and Bellecote can be reached easily and quickly by car.

La Roche is the perfect location for winter sport lovers who seek peace and quiet, but also want luxury and facilities that are often only available in larger areas.
