Together with the villages Bramans Val d’Ambin and Sollières-Sardières, Termignon-la-Vanoise forms the ‘3 petit villages’, which are situated in the valley of the Haute Maurienne Vanoise. Termignon-la-Vanoise has its own ski area, connected since 2008 to the ski area of Val Cenis. Because of this interconnection skiers and snowboarders of each degree can enjoy about 125 km of various slopes.
In the centre of Termignon-la-Vanoise there are several shops, bars, restaurants and other places to go out and there are also some shops selling products from the region. Just like Val Cenis, also Termignon-la-Vanoise is a child-friendly destination, offering e.g. a tobogganing run and a free beginners piste with conveyer lift.
The ski area also offers a snow park, and is seen as one of the best snow parks of the Haute Maurienne Vanoise ski region and offers various possibilities for both skiers and snowboarders. Cross-country skiers can enjoy some possibilities in the area, but more trails can be found at the village of Bessans. Due to the surrounding mountains, reaching over 3000 metres height, an amazing view is given to the hikers in the surrounding areas of Termignon. It is also possible to go paragliding in this area.
