Child-friendly ski area with plenty of facilities
Together with the villages Bramans Val d’Ambin and Sollières-Sardières, Termignon-la-Vanoise forms the ‘3 petit villages’, which are situated in the valley of the Haute Maurienne Vanoise. Since 2008, the ski area Termignon-la-Vanoise is connected to the ski area of Val Cenis. Because of this interconnection skiers and snowboarders of each degree can enjoy about 125 km of various slopes.
In the centre of Termignon-la-Vanoise there are several shops, bars, restaurants and other places to go out and there are also some shops selling products from the region. Just like Val Cenis, also Termignon-la-Vanoise is a child-friendly destination, offering e.g. a tobogganing run and a free beginners piste with conveyer lift.
Cross-country skiers and hikers will find a number of possibilities near the village, however, the village of Bessans has about 80 km of cross-country trails. In Termignon it is possible to register for paragliding lessons or dog sledding.
