Val di Sole is a large and beautiful ski region located in Trentino, in the Dolomites. The area covers over 380 km of slopes and has 150 ski lifts. The region is divided over five sub areas, Madonna di Campiglio, Paganella, Pinzolo, Marileva and Folgarida and can be reached by ski bus. The area offers 60 km of blue slopes, 68 km of red slopes and 22 km of black slopes. The destination is snow-sure, as 90% of the slopes are constantly covered by snow through the artificial snow machines.
The most known slope in this area is the red slope Canalone Miramonti. This slope was used for the Worldcup run 3-Tre. The slope is 2710 meters long, starts at an altitude of 2156 meters and ends in the Madonna die Campiglio. This slope and the Nera Folgarida are both open in the evening for skiing.
The area also offers various fun parks, the Ursus Snowpark and Pradalago Mini Park, which can be very interesting for the snowboarders. For children there are special children programs developed and cross-country skiers can enjoy a 30 km trail in Madonna die Campiglio.
